This is a pineapple design repeat two times around.

Size is   H-4” and W-2”.

Round 1: In magic ring, make 8sc, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.


Round 2: Ch4 (consider as 1st dc and 1ch sp), dc in each st w/ 1ch in between, end w/ sl st  in 1st dc to join. (8 dc).

Round 3: Ch3, 2dc in the same st (consider as 1st shell), shell st in each dc around, end w/ sl st in 1st dc of the 1st shell st to join. (8 shells st)


Round 4: Sl st in next 2sts and in next lp between 2 shell sts, Ch3, 2dc in the same lp (consider as 1st shell), *skip next shell st, shell st in next lp* 3 times more, ch3, sl st in top of dc, ch8, sl st in the same st, ch3, sl st in the same st, repeat *to* 4 times, ch3, sl st in top of dc, ch8, sl st in the same st, ch3, sl st in the same st, end w/ sl st in 1st dc of the 1st shell st to join. (8 shells st)


Round 5: Sl st in next 2sts and in next lp between 2 shell sts, Ch3, 2dc in the same lp (consider as 1st shell), *skip next shell st, shell st in next lp* rep *to* twice, ch2, sk next shell st and 3 ch lp, 5dc w/ch1 in between in 8ch sp, ch2, repeat *to* 3 times, ch2, sk next shell st and 3 ch lp, 5dc w/ch1 in between in 8ch sp, ch2, end w/ sl st in 1st dc of the 1st shell st to join. (6 shells st)


Round 6: Sl st in next 2sts and in next lp between 2 shell sts, Ch3, 2dc in the same lp (consider as 1st shell) , *skip next shell st, shell st in next lp*, ch4, sk next shell st - ch 2- dc, sc in next 1ch sp, (ch3, sk next dc, sc in next 1ch sp) 3 times, ch4, sk next dc - ch 2, repeat * to * twice, ch4, sk next shell st - ch 2- dc, sc in next 1ch sp, repeat ( ) 3 times, ch4, sk next dc - ch 2 - shell st, end w/ sl st in 1st dc of the 1st shell st to join. (4 shells st)


Round 7:  Sl st in next 2sts and in next lp between 2 shell sts, Ch3, 2dc in the same lp (consider as 1st shell) , *ch6, sk next shell st - ch 4 sp - sc, sc in next 3ch sp, (ch3, sc in next 3ch sp) twice, ch6, skip next sc - ch 4 sp -shell st*, shell st in next lp, repeat *to* twice, end w/ sl st in 1st dc of the 1st shell st to join. (2 shells st)


Round 8:  Sl st in next 2 dc and 1st ch of ch 6, Ch3, 2dc in the same st (consider as 1st shell), *ch5, sk rem 5 ch sp and sc, sc in next 1ch sp, ch3, sc in next 3ch sp, ch5, skip 5 sts of 6ch sp, shell st in next ch, skip next shell st*, shell st in next ch, rep *to* once,  end sl st in 1st dc of the 1st shell st to join. (4 shells st)


Round 9:  Sl st in next 2 dc and 1st ch of ch 5, Ch3, 2dc in the same st (consider as 1st shell), *ch6, sk rem 4 ch and sc, sc in next 3 ch sp, ch6, skip sc and 4 ch of the 5ch sp, shell st in next ch, skip next shell st, shell st in next lp, skip next shell st*, shell st in next ch , repeat *to* once more, end sl st in 1st dc of the 1st shell st to join. (6 shells st)


Round 10:  Sl st in next 2 dc and 1st ch of ch 6, Ch3, 2dc in the same st (consider as 1st shell), *ch3, skip 5ch of 6ch sp, skip next sc, skip 5ch of 6ch sp again, shell st in next ch, (skip next shell st, shell st in next lp) twice, skip next shell st*, shell st in next ch, repeat *to* once more, end sl st in 1st dc of the 1st shell st to join. (8 shells st)


Round 11: Sl st in next 2 dc and 1st ch of ch 6, Ch3, 2dc in the same st (consider as 1st shell), *skip next ch, shell st in next ch, skip next shell st, (shell st in next lp, skip next shell st) 3 times*, shell st in next ch, repeat *to* 3 times, end sl st in 1st shell st to join. (10 shells st)


Round 12: Ch3,  dc in the same st, skip 2sts, sl st in next st, (Ch3,  dc in the same st, sl st in next st) around, end w/ sl st to join. 

Fasten Off.


String: Ch 60. Fasten Off. (use to tie a ribbon on top of the crochet egg holder)
