Hook: 2 / 2.25MM Stainless hook

Thread:  Cotton Thread #8 (your desired color)

Tapestry/Yarn Needle

Beg Shell st:  Ch3 (consider as 1st dc), dc, ch2, 2dc in specified st.

Shell st:  (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in specified st.

Easter Egg Pouch Instructions

Make a Magic ring.

Round 1: Ch3(consider as 1st dc), dc, ch1, (2dc, ch1) 5 times in the magic ring, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join. (12 dc)

Round 2:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, beg shell st in the same lp,  sk next 2 dc, dc-ch2-dc in next 1ch sp, sk next 2 dc, *shell st in next 1ch sp, sk next 2 dc, dc-ch2-dc in next 1ch sp, sk next 2 dc, rep * twice, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.

Round 3:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, beg shell st in the same lp, ch3, 5dc in next 2ch sp, ch3, *shell st over next shell st, ch3, 5dc in next 2ch sp, ch3, rep * twice, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.

Round 4:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, beg shell st in the same lp, ch 3, sk next 3 ch sp, dc over dc w/ ch 1 in between, ch3, sk next 3 ch sp, *shell st over shell st, ch 3, sk next 3 ch sp, dc over dc w/ ch 1 in between, ch 3, sk next 3 ch sp, rep * once more, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.

Round 5:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, beg shell in the same lp, ch 3, sk next 3 ch sp and dc, sc in next 1ch sp, (ch 3, sk next dc, sc in next 1 ch sp) 3 times, ch 3, sk next dc and 3 ch sp, *shell st over shell st, ch 3, sk next 3 ch sp and dc, sc in next 1 ch sp, (ch3, sk next dc, sc in next 1 ch sp) 3 times, ch 3, sk next dc and 3 ch sp, rep * once more, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.

Round 10:  Sl st in next st and in the loop, ch 3 in the same lp (consider as 1st dc), dc in the same lp, ch2, *2 dc in next shell, ch 2, rep* around, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.

Round 11:  Ch1, sc in the same st and in next st, 2 sc in next 2 ch sp, *sc in each of next 2 sts, 2 sc in next 2 ch sp, rep* around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.

Round 12:  Ch 3 (consider as 1st dc), dc in the same st, *skip 3 sc, sl st in next sc, ch 3,  dc in the same st, rep* around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc of round 11 to join.

 Fasten Off.

String: Chain 60. Fasten off. Weave the chains through Round 11 and tie a ribbon to finish.
