This is a free crochet pattern for Lea blouse. It has photo tutorial in each step to guide you in your crochet journey.

This Lea Blouse is a top down and worked in round.

This crochet blouse pattern is easy to follow, it used a simple stitch  that repeats from neckline down to hem.

Pattern is for Size Small-Medium, (Medium-Large ).

Bust size : 36 inches (46 inches), both are stretchable and may vary depending on the tension. I am a bit loose tension so all of my finished products are slightly bigger.

Hook: F / 5 – 3.75 MM

Yarn US:  5 skeins of South Maid Cotton 8 (for size small)

Color:  Coral or your desired color 

Philippines Yarn: Monaco Cotton Yarn 8 ply

2" square - 8 sts X 3 rows of DC


Lea Blouse Bodice Instructions

Foundation Chain: Ch 114 ( 126 ), sl st in 1st ch to join, be careful not to twist.

Round 1: Ch 4 (consider as 1st dc and 1 ch sp), sk 1 ch, (dc in next 2 sts, ch 1, sk 1 ch) around, dc in last st, end w/ sl st to join. (38 sps) (42 sps ) 


Round 2:  Sl st in next 1 ch sp, ch 3, 2dc tog in the same sp (consider as 1st 3 dc tog), ch 2, 3 dc tog in the same sp,* (3 dc tog, ch 2, 3 dc tog) in next 1 ch sp, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 1st 3 dc tog to join.


Round 3: Sl st in next st and in 2 ch sp, ch 3 (consider as 1st dc), 2 dc in the same sp, ( ch2, sk next 2 cl, 3 dc in next 2 ch sp) around, end w/ hdc in 1st dc to join.


Round 4: Ch 3, 2 dc tog in hdc post (consider as 1st 3 dc tog), ch 2, 3 dc tog in the same  hdc post, sk 2 sts, * (3 dc tog, ch 2, 3 dc tog) in next 2 ch sp, sk 2 sts, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 1st 3 dc tog to join.


Round 5: Sl st in next 2 ch sp,  ch 3 (consider as 1st dc), 2 dc in the same sp, ch 3, sk 2 cl, 3 dc in next 2ch sp, (ch 3, sk 2 cl, 3 dc in next 2ch sp) around, sk 2 cl, end w/ dc in 1st dc to join. 


Round 6: Beg cl in dc post, ch 3, cl in the same dc post,* sk 3 dc, (cl, ch 3, cl) in next 3 ch sp, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 1st cl to join. 


Round 7: Sl st in next 2 ch sp, ch 3 (consider as 1st dc), 3 dc in the same sp, ch 3, sk 2 cl, (4 dc in next 3 ch sp, ch 3, sk 2 cl) around, end w/ dc in 1st dc to join.


Round 8: Beg cl in dc post, ch 3, cl in the same dc post,* sk 4 dc, (cl, ch 3, cl) in next 3 ch sp, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 1st cl to join.


Round 9: Repeat Round 7 

Round 10: Repeat Round 8 (76 Clusters / 84 Clusters)

( Repeat Round 7 & 8 according to your size )




Round 11:  Sl st in next st and in 2 ch sp, ch 3 (consider as 1st dc), 3 dc in the same sp, ch 3, (sk 2 cl, 4 dc in next 3 ch sp, ch 3) 10 ( 12 )times,  drop the yarn, 

attach new yarn in next st, ch 27 ( 33 ), sk  16 ( 16 )  cl, attach yarn in next st, cut off.


Continuation of the round: Grab the dropped yarn, sk 3 sts, (dc in next st, 2 dc in next st, dc in next st, ch 3, sk 3 sts) 4 times (5 times), (4 dc in next 3 ch sp, ch 3, sk 2 cl) 11  ( 13 ) times, drop the yarn again, 

attach new yarn in next st, ch 27 ( 33 ), sk  16 ( 16 ) cl, attach yarn in next st, cut off.


Continuation of the round: Grab the dropped yarn, sk 3 sts, dc in next st, 2 dc in next st, dc in next st, (ch 3, sk 3 sts, dc in next st, 2 dc in next st, dc in next st,) 3 times (4 times), end w/ dc (consider dc as ch3 sp) in 1st dc to join.

(30 (36) sets of 4 dc's)


Round 12: Beg cl in dc post, ch 3, cl in the same dc post,* sk 4 dc, (cl, ch 3, cl) in next 1 ch sp, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 1st cl to join.


Round 13: Sl st in next 3 ch sp, ch 6 (consider as 1st dc and 3 ch sp), sk 2 cl, (4 dc in next 3 ch sp, ch 3, sk 2 cl) around, 3 dc in 1st 3 ch sp to complete 4dc’s set, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join. 

 

Round 14: Sl st in next 3 ch sp, (beg cl, ch 3, cl) in the same sp,* sk 4 dc, (cl, ch 3, cl) in next 1 ch sp, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 1st cl to join. 


Round 15: Sl st in next 2 ch sp, ch 3 (consider as 1st dc), 3 dc in the same sp, ch 3, sk 2 cl, 4 dc in next 3 ch sp, (ch 3, sk 2 cl, 4 dc in next 3 ch sp) around, end w/ dc in 1st dc to join.

Round 16: Beg cl in dc post, ch 3, cl in the same dc post,* sk 4 dc, (cl, ch 3, cl) in next 1 ch sp, rep * around, end w/ sl st in 1st cl to join.

Round 16: Repeat Round 15 & 16 up to your desired length. 

Do not cut, continue to Hem edging.


Lea Blouse Edging Instructions


Hem Edging

Round 1:  Ch 1, hdc in the same st, (3 hdc in 3 ch sp, hdc in next 2 sts) around, end w/ sl st in 1st h dc to join. (155 ( 180 ) h dc)

Round 2:  Ch 1, sc in the same st, (sc in next st) twice, picot, *(sc in next st) 5 times, picot, rep * around, end w/ sl st to join. 

Cut off, weave in ends.


Sleeve Edging

 Attach the yarn at the same st where you attached the previous yarn for the bodice as shown on photo below.


Round 1:  Ch 1, h dc in the same st, 3 h dc in 3 ch sp, (h dc in next st, sk next st, h dc in next st, 3 hdc in next 3 ch sp) 4 times, (h dc in next 2 sts, 3 h dc in 3 ch sp) 8 times, h dc in next st, sl st in 1st h dc to join. (65  ( 70 ) h dc)


Round 2:  Ch 1, sc in the same st, sc in next st, picot, *(sc in next st) 5 times, picot, rep * 12 times, sc in next st in rem sts,  end w/ sl st to join. 

Cut off, weave in ends.



Neckline Edging

 Attach the yarn at the same st where you join the foundation chain. 

Round 1:  Ch 1, hdc in the same st, (hdc in next st) around, sl st in 1st hdc to join. (114 (126) h dc)

Round 2:  Ch 1, sc in the same st, (sc in next st) twice,  picot, *(sc in next st) 3 times, picot, rep * around, end w/ sl st to join. 


Cut off, weave in ends.
