This is a free crochet pattern to spice up your Easter egg hunt this Easter Holiday. 


.This Easter egg wrapper has a photo tutorial in each step that may guide you in your crochet journey.

I used cluster st as design in this pattern.

The size of this Easter egg wrapper  is  Height 4” and Width 2” .


Material Needed

Hook: 2 / 2.25MM Stainless hook

Thread:  Cotton Thread #8 (your desired color)

Tapestry/Yarn Needle


Stitch Guide

Beg Cluster Ch3, 2 dc tog in specified st.

Cluster:  Ch3, 3dc-tog in specified st.


Term Used

Ch: chain

Sc : single crochet

Dc: double crochet

Sl st: Slip stitch

Cl st : Cluster stitch

Sp: space


Easter Egg Wrapper Instructions

Make a magic crochet.

Round 1: Ch3 (consider as 1st dc), 13 dc in magic crochet, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join  (14 dc)


Round 2: Ch4 (consider as 1st dc and ch 1 sp) , dc over dc with ch 1 in between, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join. (14 dc)


Round 3: Sl st in next 1ch sp, beg cl in the same sp, ch2, (skip dc, cl st in next 1ch sp, ch2) around, sl st in 1st cl st to join. (14 cluster)


Round 4: Ch 1, sc in the same st, 2 sc in next 2ch sp, (sc in next st, 2 sc in next 2 ch sp) around, sl st in 1st sc to join. (42 sc)


Round 5: Beg cl, ch 2, (skip next 2 sc, cl st in next sc, ch 2) around, sl st in 1st cluster to join. (14 cluster)


Round 6-13: Repeat Round 4 and Repeat Round 5

Round 4: Repeat round 4 


Round 15: Ch 3 (consider as 1st dc), dc in the same st, (skip 3 sts, sl st in next st, Ch 3,  dc in the same st) around, end w/ sl st in 1st sl st to join.

 Fasten Off, weave in ends



String: Ch 60. Fasten Off.

(use to tie a ribbon on top of the crochet egg wrapper)
