Girlie's Crochet

A chic looking scarf that is sure to make a beginner feel like an expert.

It is an easy two rows repeat pattern and when you run out of yarn, you're done. You won't believe it until you finish it.

The yarn I used was quite bulky so it was no challenge at all to finish it quickly.

It can be an overnight project and can be ready for the next day's gift.

Finished Measurement - 5" X 72"


Skill  level:

Easy


Materials Needed

Hook: 6.50MM [US K- 10.5]

Yarn Weight: #5, Bulky

Yarn used: Lion Brand Homespun, Golden , 185 yards

Tapestry needle for weaving ends.


Terms Used

All terms are in USA terminology

Ch: Chain,  Sc: Single Crochet,  Dc: Double Crochet


Mandy Scarf Instructions

Row 1: Ch 18, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sk next ch, *dc-ch 1-dc- ch1-dc in next sc, sk next 2 ch, sc in next ch, sk next 2 sc, rep * once more, dc-ch 1-dc- ch1-dc in next sc, sk next ch, sc in last ch.


Row 2: Ch 5 (ch 3 consider as 1st dc and ch 2 as ch sp), turn, *sk next dc, sc in next dc, ch 2, sk next dc, dc in next sc, rep * once more, sk next dc, sc in next dc, ch 2, sk next dc, dc in last sc. 


Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in the same st, sk next 2 ch sp, *dc-ch 1-dc- ch1-dc in next sc, sk next 2 ch sp, sc in next dc, sk next 2 sc ch, rep * once more, dc-ch 1-dc- ch1-dc in next sc, sk next ch sp, sc in last dc.


Row 4 - 127: Repeat row 2 and row 3.


Fasten Off and weave in ends.
