This top is easily modified according to your body size by adding chains in string instructions multiples of 4sts, according to your cup size by adding rows repeat.

This Bea Bikini Top size cup B, size S/M (34"-36")


Materials Needed:

Stainless Hook: 00  /  3.50 MM

Thread: Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread Fashion #3; Scarlett; 170 yds


Terms Used:

All terms are in USA terminology

Ch: Chain,  Sc: Single Crochet,  Dc: Double Crochet, Sl st: Slip Stitch


Bea Bikini Top - Cup Instructions:

Row 1: Ch16, dc in 5th ch from hook, dc in each sts across, in last st work 3dc-ch1-3dc, continue to other side, dc in each sts across. [30 dc]


Row 2: Ch3 (consider as 1st dc), turn, dc in each sts across, 2dc-ch1-2dc in next 1ch sp, continue to other side, dc in each sts across. [34 dc]


Row 3: Repeat row 2, but this time having total of 38 dc.

Row 4: Repeat row 2, but this time having total of 42 dc.

Row 5: Repeat row 2, but this time having total of 46 dc.

Row 6: Repeat row 2, but this time having total of 50 dc.

Row 7: Repeat row 2, but this time having total of 52 dc.

Row 8: Repeat row 2, but this time having total of 58 dc.

Row 9: Repeat row 2, but this time having total of 62 dc. Fasten off.


On 2nd cup repeat row 1 - row 9, do not cut; continue in next row as we attach the other cup.

Ch3 (consider as 1st dc), turn, sk next 2dc, 2dc-ch1-2dc in next dc, sk next 2dc, dc in next dc,


 in 1st cup, sk 6dc, dc in next dc, 


sk next 2dc, 2dc in next dc, drop the thread, insert hook in 1ch sp of 2nd cup, grab the thread, 


ch1, 2dc in the same st of 1st cup, sk next 2dc, dc in next dc, 


drop the thread, insert hook in top of 1st dc of 2nd cup, grab the thread, sl st in the same st, fasten off.

Upper Strap Instructions

Both cups: Attach thread in upper corner of the cup for the strap, ch 101, fasten off. 

Lower Strap Instructions:


Row 1: Ch121, 2sc in 1st dc post, 2 sc in each of next dc post, ch121, do not cut.  [68 sc] 


Row 2 (edging) this side will be your Right Side: Sc-ch3-2dc in 2nd ch from hook, sk next 3ch, *sc-ch3-2dc in next st, sk next 3sts*, rep *to* across the ch 


rep *to* across the sc and across remaining chains, in last st work 5sc-ch3-2dc, on the other side, sk next 3sts, rep *to* across the ch, 


sk next 3dc, rep *to* 6 times,  sc-ch3-2dc in next st, 


sk next 2dc, rep *to* across the ch, in last st work 5sc-ch3-2dc, on the other side, sk next 3sts, rep *to* across the ch, on the corner sk next 2dc, rep *to* 5 times,


sk next dc and dc post, sc-ch3-2dc in next joined st, sk next dc post and next dc, rep *to* 5 times, 

sc-ch3-2dc in next st, sk next 2dc, rep *to* across the ch, in last st work 5sc-ch3-2dc, on the other side, sk next 3sts, rep *to* across the ch, on the corner sk next 2dc, rep *to* 7 times and across rem sts, in last st work 4sc, sl st in 1st sc to join.

Fasten off and weave in ends.
