Free crochet pattern- Anne Crochet Coaster

This is a free crochet pattern for Anne Crochet Coaster.

Girlie's Crochet

Coaster is crocheted in round with no seam so you have to use running stitch markers throughout to make it easier to see the seam.


Materials Needed:

Hook: US-G8  /  4.00MM

Yarn: Crème de la Crème, 1 ball (approximately 9 pcs coaster in 1 ball), color Tearose


Terms Used:

All terms are in USA terminology

Ch: Chain,  Sc: Single Crochet,  Dc: Double Crochet, Sl st: Slip Stitch


Stitch Guide:

Shell St (sh): 2 dc – ch 2 – 2 dc in specified st.

Sc2tog: Draw up a loop in each of next 2 dc, yarn over the hook and draw through all 3 loops on hook: Sc2tog made.


Gauge:

Finished coaster measurement is 4" in diameter


Anne Crochet Coaster Instructions:

Round 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook.

Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around. [12 sc]

Round 3: (2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st) around. [18 sc]

Round 4: (Sc in each of next 2 st, 2 sc in next sc) around. [24 sc]

Round 5: Sc in next sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 3 st) around, 2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 2 st, sl st in 1st sc to join. [30 sc]


Round 6: Ch 3 (consider as 1st dc), dc-ch2-2dc in the same st, sk next 2 sc, (sh in next sc, sk next 2 sc) around, sl st in 1st dc to join. [10 sh]

Round 7: Ch 1, sc in next dc, 2 sc-ch 2-2 sc in next 2 ch sp, sc in next dc, sc2tog in next 2 dc, (sc in next dc, 2 sc-ch 2-2 sc in next 2 ch sp, sc in next dc) around, sc2tog in next 2 rem dc, sl st in 1st sc to join.

Fasten Off.
