This is a free crochet pattern for Ube Strawberry Cookie Coin Purse.

Note: This pattern is in continuous round.


Materials Needed:

Yarns: Milk Cotton Light - Plum

Cannon Mercerized Cotton Thread - MB 083, MB012

Hook: # 3.00mm & 1.00 mm

Tapestry needle

Snipper / Scissor

Stitch Marker


Instructions:

Make 2: Use Milk Cotton Light Plum

Round 1: Start with 8 sc in magic ring.  (8sc)

Round 2: 2 sc in each st. around (16sc)

Round 3: * 1 sc in 1st st, 2 sc in next st.*,  repeat * - * around  (24sc)

Round 4: * 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in each of next 2 sts.*,  repeat * - * around  (32 sc)

Round 5: * 1 sc in each of 3 sts, 2 sc in next st.*,  repeat * - * around. (40sc)

Round 6: 1 sc in each st around (40sc)

Round 7: 1 sc in each of 2 sts. 2sc in next st.,  *1sc in each of next 4 sts. 2 sc in next st.*, repeat * - * around, 1 sc in each of last 2 sts.(48sc)

Round 8: *1 sc in each of 5 sts, 2 sc in next st.*,  reapeat * - * around (56sc)

Round 9: 1 sc in each of 3 sts, 2 sc in next st. , *1 sc in each of 6 sts,  2 sc in next st.*,  repeat * - * around, 1 sc in each of last 3 sts. (64sc)

Round 10: 1 sc in each st. around. (64sc)

Round 11:* 1 sc in each of 6 sts, 2 sc in next st.*,  repeat *-* 9 times, 1 sc in last st. (73sc)

Round 12: 1 sc in each of 3 sts, 2 sc in next st.,  * 1 sc in each of next 7 sts., 2 sc in next st.*  repeat *-* 8 times, 1 sc in each of last 5 sts. (82sc)

Round 13: 1 sc in each st. around (82)

F.O. have a long tail for sewing key chain slot.

Lining or Filling

Note: chain 2 does not count as double crochet. Always slip stitch on the 1st dc.

Make 2: Cannon Mercerized Cotton Thread - MB 083, MB012

Round 1:  Start with 12 dc in a magic ring, sl.st. to 1st dc. chain 2

Round 2: 2 dc in each st. around, sl.st. chain 2

Round 3: * 1dc in 1st st. 2 dc in next st.*, repeat - around, sl.st. chain 2

Round 4: * 2 dc in 1st st., 1dc in each of next 2 sts., sl.st. chain 2

Round 5: 1 dc in each of 3 sts., 2 dc in next st., repeat - around, sl.st., chain 2

Round 6: 1 dc in each of 2 sts., 2 dc in next st., 1 dc in each of 4 sts., 2 dc in next st., repeat *- around, 1 dc in each of last 2 sts. sl.st. chain 2

Round 7: 1 dc in each of 5 sts., 2 dc in next st., repeat - around, sl.st. chain 2

Round 8: 1 dc in each of 3 sts., 2 dc in next st., 1 dc in each of 6 sts., 2 dc in next st., repeat - around, 1 dc in each of last 3 sts. sl.st., chain 2

Round 9: 1 dc in each of 7 sts., 2 dc in next st., repeat - around, sl.st., chain 2

Round 10: 1 dc in each of 4 sts. 2 dc in next st., 1 dc in each of 8 sts., 2 dc in next st., repeat - around, 1 dc in each of last 4 sts, sl.st., chain 2

Round 11: 1 dc in each of 9 sts., 2 dc in next st., repeat *- around sl.st.

F.O. leave a long tail for sewing

Attach each lining to zipper using backstitch and join the 2 lining using sc together.

Now, for the 2 purse (front and back purse), to join, sc in 1st st in other purse, turn, sc in 2nd purse and so on, always remember that the right side facing you. 


About the Designer

Tinuruan ako mag crochet ng nanay ko, noon kasi meron silang commisioned work ng crochet, by parts, nag start ako gumawa ng mga bulaklak at dahon 10 centavos per piece pa noon ang dahon at piso naman yung flower. Since then binibigyan na ako ng work, ang last na ginawa ko angel.

Hindi tumigil ang crochet projects ko, puro Cannon pa gamit sa lahat ng mga projects ko. Hanggang sa magkaroon ng internet at nakita ko yung group "CLP (Crochet Lovers in the Philippines)" dito na nagsimula ang masaya at mabunga kong journey sa crochet.
