This Red Glam Scarf is so easy, all you need to know is how to crochet single, double and picot.

This pattern is in 2 rows repeat, crocheted in rectangular then finish it  with edging around.

Materials Needed

Hook: 4.00MM [US G-6]

Yarn Weight: #3, DK Weight Yarn

Yarn Used: Patons Glam Stripes, Red, 2 1/4 Skein (542 yds)

Tapestry needle for weaving ends.


Terms Used

All terms are in USA terminology

Ch: Chain,  Sc: Single Crochet,  Dc: Double Crochet, 

Sk: Skip,  Rep: Repeat


Gauge

2" Square: 10 sts x 5R of DC's


Red Glam Scarf 2 Instructions:

Row 1: Ch 64, dc-ch 1-dc-ch 1-dc in 7th ch from hook (consider 3 ch as 1st dc and 3 ch as foundation ch), *ch 4, sl st in 4th ch from hook, sk 5 ch, dc-ch 1-dc-ch 1-dc in next st, rep 8 times more, sk next 2 ch, dc in last st.


Row 2: Ch 5 (consider 3 ch as 1st dc and 2 ch as ch sp), sk next dc, dc in next dc, *ch 5, sk next dc - picot - dc,  dc in next dc, rep * across, ch 2, sk next dc, dc in next dc.


Row 3: Ch 3 (consider as 1st dc), sk next 2 ch sp, dc-ch 1-dc-ch 1-dc in next dc, *ch 4, sl st in 4th ch from hook, sk 5 ch sp, dc-ch 1-dc-ch 1-dc in next dc, rep 8 times more, sk next 2 ch sp, dc in last st.


Row 4-131 or up to desired length: Repeat row 2 and row 3


Last row (Edging): At the end of the row, ch 1-dc-ch 1-dc in the same dc, *ch 3, sl st in top of the same dc, sk next 2 dc post, dc-ch 1-dc-ch 1-dc in next joint st*,  rep *to* across, 


in other end of the scarf, dc-ch 1-dc-ch 1-dc in corner st, sk next 2 ch sp, dc-ch 1-dc-ch 1-dc in next st, **ch 4, sl st in 4th ch from hook, sk 5 ch sp, dc-ch 1-dc-ch 1-dc in next st**, rep **to** 8 times more, sk 2 ch sp, dc-ch 1-dc-ch 1-dc in corner st, 



on the other side of the scarf,  rep *to* across, dc- ch 1- dc- ch 1 in last corner, sl st in 1st dc to join.

Fasten Off.
