Instructions:

First Cup

To start with, make a 16 chains and leave at least 2 inches long loop ( to be used for the side part, leave at least 5 inches tail) cut off, then set aside.

Row 1: Make a slip knot, ch 138 (string: or you may add multiple of 6 ch for your shoulder and back, enough to tie a ribbon), 2 dc in 4th ch from hook.

Row 2: Ch 3, turn, 2 dc in the same st, dc in next dc, (2 dc, trc) in last st. (7 sts)

Row 3: Ch 3, turn, 2 dc in the same st, [dc in next dc] across, (2 dc, trc) in last st. (11 sts)

Row 4-7: Repeat row 3

Since the pattern is for Size 34A, if you want to modify according to your size, you may add one or more rows repeat.

Second Cup

Repeat row 1-7 of first cup.

Row 8: Repeat row 3, then continue to first cup by adding the 8th row.

For modification: make sure to modify the size of your first cup before joining the two cups.

Turn your first cup, (Video tutorial time stamp 06:26) Repeat row 3 to complete the rows by joining them. Now, both cups have the same count of rows.

Remember our first instructions, to set aside the ch 16, attach the ch on the other side (consider as foundation ch), you may modify the chains according to your desired length. Back to the other end of the crop top.

Row 9: ch 16 (consider as foundation ch), ch 3, turn, dc in 5th ch from hook, [dc in next dc across].

Row 10-15: Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc across.

Row 16: Ch 3, turn, [fpdc in next st, bpdc in next st] across, dc in last st.

If you modified the length, just crochet fpdc and bpdc alternately.

Row 17-18: Repeat row 16.

Row 19 (Edging around): Ch 1, turn, 3 sc in the same st (corner), sc in each of next st across, 3 sc in the corner, on the side: sc in next dc post, [2 sc in next dc post] across, sc in last dc post, 3 sc in the corner st, on the other side: sc in each st across, slanting side: 3 sc in each dc post across, sc in the corner st of the cup, remove hook from yarn, after the last st, we will count 24 sts, put st marker. Now do the same on the other cup, now, go back to where you remove your hook, [sk 2 sts, fan st in next st, sk 2 sts, sc in next st] 4 times, don’t remove the marker (we will start here for inner edging). The fan st part of the string will be your shoulder strap part, (ch 3, sk 3 sts, sc in next st) across, if in case in last st, there are 2 remaining sts, just ch 1 and sc in last st. Now we will crochet fan st on the other shoulder strap, start to last st going back to the crop top, be careful not to twist. Make a slip knot, ch 1, sc in the same st, ‘ch 3, sk 3 sts, sc in next st] across, if you reach the st marker and there are 3 sts remaining, just ch 2 then sc in last st, repeat the fan st for the shoulder strap. For slanting side, 3 sc in each of next dc post, for the lower side of the crop top, [sc in next st] across, 3 sc at the corner, on the side, sc in next dc post, 2 sc in each of next dc post across, sl st in 1st sc to join. Fasten Off.

Inner Edging: Remember our st marker, make a slip st, insert hook in the st where your st marker is, pull the yarn, ch 3, sk next 2 st, [sl st in next st, ch 3, sk next 2 st] across, sc in next st, on slanting part, [3 sc in each dc post] across, sc in each of next 2 dc post at the corners, [3 sc in each dc post] across, sc in last st corner, [ch 3, sk next 2 sts] accross until you reach the stitch marker, sl st in last st instead of sc.

Fasten Off and hide the tails.
