This is a free crochet pattern for an Easy Beach Bag with photo tutorial in each step. This easy Beach Bag is a great project for beginner's and it can be done in one day.


The unique shape adds versatility to this spacious yet slim profiled light bag which lets you stow all your beach essentials. Slim enough for easy carry but big on space for the important things you need for a comfortable outing.

Inspired by the Cover Up Skirt found here. Match with the Cover Up Skirt for a cool and fashionable crocheted look.

This is crocheted in round from bottom up.

Laying flat measurements is -

Width 12"  x Height (from top of handle to bottom) 24"

The tutorial only shows one color, you are free to choose your own color combination.

Needed

Hook: US G / 6 - 4.00MM

Yarn - Any DK Weight yarn 200 grams ; your desired color 

(local yarn - monaco 8 ply - 1 cone / 200 grams)  


Stitch Guide

Shell St: 2 dc , ch 1, 2 dc in specified st.

V-st St: ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1 in specified st.

Sc2-tog: Draw up a loop in each of next 2 sts, yarn over the hook and draw through all 3 loops on hook: Sc2tog made.


Gauge

2" square : 9 stitches  : 4 rows (double crochet)

Fasten off.
