Treble crochet is one of the basic crochet stitches that a beginner should learn. Here you can find a photo tutorial in each step to guide you in your crochet journey.

In this treble crochet stitch produces a loose fabric. Using this stitch in repetition may finish your project quickly.


Treble Crochet Instructions

Always start the treble crochet with chain 4


yarn over the hook twice, insert the hook in upper two strands of next stitch, yarn over the hook 


gently draw the yarn through two loops, there are now 4 loops on the hook, yarn over the hook again, 


draw the yarn through two loops again, there are now 3 loops on the hook, yarn over the hook again, 


draw the yarn through two loops again, there are now 2 loops on the hook remaining, yarn over the hook again, draw the yarn through the remaining two loops. 

One Treble Crochet made. 


Repeat - Treble Crochet Instructions

yarn over the hook twice, 


insert the hook in upper two strands of next stitch, yarn over the hook 


gently draw the yarn through two loops, there are now 4 loops on the hook, yarn over the hook again, draw the yarn through two loops again, there are now 3 loops on the hook,


draw the yarn through two loops again, there are now 2 loops remaining on the hook, yarn over the hook again, draw the yarn through the remaining two loops.
