Rheema Blouse

Rheema Blouse - Free Crochet Pattern with photo tutorial in each step

Rheema Blouse is a free crochet pattern in a chevron design with photo tutorials in each step. 

Stitch pattern was repeat every two rounds and for modification purposes the stitch used was multiple of 12.

This is a top down and crocheted in rounds. 

This Rheema Blouse is for kid's age 4-6 years old. Laying flat, dimension is, from shoulder down is 14”, body is 12” and sleeve hole is 4”.

Instruction for bigger size is in  {  }  bracket.

Before you start crocheting, cut a 1pc length of yarn - 15” that will be used as ch11 for your armhole.

 

Stitch Guide

V-st: dc, ch1, dc in specified space

Shell St: 2dc, ch1, 2dc in specified space

Dc2tog: Yarn over the hook, draw up a loop in next dc, yarn over the hook, draw through first 2 loops on hook, skip sc or dc2tog, yarn over the hook, draw up a loop in next dc, yarn over the hook, draw through first 2 loops on hook, yarn over the hook, draw through all 3 loops on hook: dc2-tog made.

Completing the dc2tog: Yarn over the hook, draw up a loop in next dc, yarn over the hook, draw through first 2 loops on hook, skip dc2tog, sl st in 2nd ch, yarn over the hook, draw through all 3 loops on hook: dc2-tog complete. (Do this in all rounds that need to complete the dc2tog.)

Sc2tog: Draw up a loop in each of next 2dc / 2sc but having the 2dctog skipped, yarn over the hook and draw through all 4 loops on hook: sc2tog made.

Back Post Double Crochet:  Yarn over, insert hook from back to front to back around post of specified st and draw up a lp, yarn over and draw through 2 lps on hook, yarn over and draw through remaining 2 lps on hook. For photo tutorial please click here.

Needed

Hook: US F  5/3.75MM

Yarn: Size small - 675 - 676 yards (220 g)Red Heart Baby Sheen, Pistachio 

Local Yarn: Held together- 3 strands of indophil (hunter color) yarn , 200 grams  and 3 balls monaco (shade-B55)

Yarn Weight: Light / DK

 

Gauge

4" square  -  21 sts  x   8 dc rows


Rheema Blouse Instructions

Round 1: Foundation chain of 108  { 120 }, sl st in 1st ch to form a ring, be careful not to twist.

Round 2: Ch1, sc in the same st, sk 2ch, shell st in next ch, sk 2ch, (sc in next ch, sk 2ch, shell st in next ch, sk 2ch) around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join. :18 shell st { 20 shell st }


Round 3: Sl st in next dc, ch2, dc in next dc, shell st in next 1ch sp, dc in next dc, (dc2tog, dc in next dc, shell st in next 1ch sp, dc in next dc) around, end w/ completing the dc2tog.


Round 4: Sl st in next dc, ch2, bpdc in each of next 2dc, v-st in next 1ch sp, bpdc in each of next 2dc, (dc2tog, bpdc in each of next 2dc, v-st in next 1ch sp, bpdc in each of next 2dc) around, end w/ completing the dc2tog.


Round 5: Sl st in next dc, ch2, dc in each of next 2dc, shell st in next 1ch sp, dc in each of next 2 dc, (dc2tog, dc in each of next 2dc, shell st in next 1ch sp, dc in each of next 2dc) around, end w/ completing the dc2tog.


Round 6: Repeat round 4 but having bpdc in each of next 3dc


Round 7: Repeat round 5 but having dc in each of next 3dc


Round 8: Sl st in next dc, ch2, bpdc in each of next 4dc, v-st in next 1ch sp, bpdc in each of next 4dc, (dc2tog, bpdc in each of next 4dc, v-st in next 1ch sp, bpdc in each of next 4dc) around, end w/ completing the dc2tog.

Round 9: Sl st in next dc, ch2, dc in each of next 4dc, v-st in next 1ch sp, dc in each of next 4dc, (dc2tog, dc in each of next 4dc, v-st in next 1ch sp, dc in each of next 4dc) around, end w/ completing the dc2tog.


Round 10: Repeat round 8

Round 11: Repeat round 9

Round 12: Repeat round 8

Note: For longer sleeve, repeat round 8 and round 9 once more.

Round 13: Start on forming the armhole: Ch11, sk 3 dc2tog (sk 4 dc2tog) , sl st in next 2dc tog, drop the yarn. Sk 4 - dc2tog,

remember your 15” yarn, attach the yarn in next dc2tog, ch11, sk 3 dc2tog (sk 4 dc2tog), sl st in next 2dc tog,

(Now you can start your body part).


Grab your dropped yarn, sl st in next dc, ch2, dc in each of next 4dc, v-st in next 1ch sp, dc in each of next 4dc, (dc2tog, dc in each of next 4dc, v-st in next 1ch sp, dc in each of next 4dc) 4 times, 


dc2tog in next 2sts (skip the joining st), dc in each of next 4ch, v-st in next ch, dc in each of next 4ch, dc2tog in next 2sts (skip the joining st), 


dc in each of next 4dc, v-st in next 1ch sp, dc in each of next 4dc, (dc2tog, dc in each of next 4dc, v-st in next 1ch sp, dc in each of next 4dc) 4 times, dc2tog in next 2sts (skip the joining st), dc in each of next 4ch, v-st in next ch, dc in each of next 4ch, complete dc2tog in next 2sts (skip the joining st),


Round 14 and Onwards: Repeat round 8 & 9 according to your length desire, end with round 9. Continue to edging

Edging - Lower Part

Edging Lower Part - Round 1: Sl st in each of next 2dc, ch1, sc in the same st, sc in each of next 3dc, 3sc in 1ch sp, sc in each of next 4dc, sc2tog, (sc in each of next 4dc, 3sc in 1ch sp, sc in each of next 4dc, sc2tog) around, sl st in 1st sc to join.


Edging Lower Part - Round 2: Sl st in each of next 2sc, ch1, sc in the same st, sc in each of next 3sc, 3sc in next sc, sc in each of next 4sc, sc2tog, (sc in each of next 4sc, 3sc in next sc, sc in each of next 4sc, sc2tog) around, sl st in 1st sc to join. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Edging - Sleeve

Edging Sleeve - Round 1: Attach yarn in the middle st, ch3 (consider as 1st dc), dc in each of next 4dc, dc2tog in next 2sts (skip the joining st), dc in each of next 4dc, v-st in next 1ch sp, dc in each of next 4dc, (dc2tog in next 2dc, dc in each of next 4dc, v-st in next 1ch sp, dc in each of next 4dc) 3 times { 4 times } , dc2tog in next 2sts (skip the joining st), dc in each of next 4ch, end w/ sl st in 1st dc to join.


Edging Sleeve - Round 2: Ch1, sc in the same st,  sc in each of next 3dc,  sc2tog, (sc in each of next 4sc, 3sc in next sc, sc in each of next 4sc, sc2tog) 4 times { 5 times } , sc in each of next 3dc, sl st in 1st sc to join. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Edging - Neckline

Edging Neckline - Round 1: Attach yarn in any 2ch sp, ch1, 2sc in the same sp, sc in next st, 2sc in next 2ch sp, sk next st, (2sc in next 2ch sp, sc in next st, 2sc in next 2ch sp, sk next st) around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.

Edging Neckline - Round 2: Ch1, sc in the same st, sc in each of next 2sc, picot, (sc in each of next 5sc, picot) around, sc in each of next 2sc, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join. Fasten off and weave in ends.
