Girlie's Crochet

Joining sides and shoulder, some sides we do not cut the yarn so you can continue to the edging of the specific hole to prevent cutting and attaching the yarn.

While crocheting, there will be a tail you will encounter, just try to hide it as you crochet in preceding stitches.

Assembly Instructions

1st Side: Facing right side together, in the corner, face the wrong side to you, attach yarn at the corner, ch1, sc in the same corner. Together, (ch2, sk next dc post,  sc in next joined st) 15 times, cut off. 


1st shoulder: Together, attach yarn in the corner, ch1, sc in the same corner, (ch2, sk next dc post,  sc in next joined st) 4 times, cut off.


2nd shoulder: Together, attach yarn in the corner, ch1, sc in the same corner, (ch2, sk next dc post,  sc in next joined st) 4 times, do not cut, continue to edging.  Turn the vest into right side.


Neckline Edging: Ch1, sc in the same st, (ch2, sc in next joined st) around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.


2nd side: Facing right side together, in the corner, facing the wrong side to you, from the shoulder, sk 13 dc post, attach the yarn in next joined st, ch1, sc in the same st, (ch2, sk next dc post,  sc in next joined st) 15 times. 


Do not cut, continue to edging. Turn the vest into right side.


 Hem Edging Round 1: Ch1, sc in the same st, (ch2, sc in joined st) around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.


Hem Edging Round 2: Ch2, sk next dc post, (sl st in next joined st, ch2, sk next dc post) around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.


Armhole Edging Round 1: Attach yarn in any st of armpit area, repeat Hem Edging Round 1

Armhole Edging Round 2: Repeat Hem Edging Round 2


Cut off and weave in ends.
