Hook: 2 / 2.25MM Stainless hook

Thread:  Cotton Thread #8

Tapestry/Yarn Needle


Stitch Guide

V-St: dc, ch1, dc in specified st

Sc: Single crochet

Sl st: Slip Stitch

Ch: Chain

Sp: Space

Lp: loop

Easter Egg Holder Instructions


Round 1: 12 dc in magic crochet, end w/ sl st to join.


Round 2: Ch4 (consider as 1st dc and 1ch sp), dc in each sts with 1ch in between, end w/ sl st to join. (12dc)


Round 3: Ch1, sc in the same st, (ch3, skip 1ch sp, sc in next st) around, end w/ ch1, hdc in 1st sc to join. (12 loops)


Round 4:  Ch1, sc in the same st, v-st in next sc, sc in next 3ch sp, (ch3, sc in next 3ch sp, v-st in next sc, sc in next 3ch sp) around, end w/ ch1, hdc in 1st sc to join. (6 v-st ; 6 loops)


Round 5: Ch1, sc in the same st, ch3, sc in next v-st, v-st in next sc, (sc in next 3ch sp, ch3, sc in next v-st, v-st in next sc) around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.


Round 6:  Sl st in next 2 sts, Ch1, sc in the same lp, ch3, sc in next v-st, v-st in next sc, (sc in next 3ch sp, ch3, sc in next v-st, v-st in next sc) around, end w/ sl st in 1st sc to join.


Round 7-13:  Repeat Round 6.


Round 14:  Sl st in next 2 sts, Ch5 (consider as 1st dc and ch2 sp), dc in next v-st, ch2, (dc in next 3ch sp, ch2, dc in next v-st, ch1) around, end w/ sl st to join. (12dc)


Round 15: Ch1, sc in the same st, 2sc in next 2ch sp, (sc in next st, 2sc in next 2ch sp) around, end w/ sl st to join. (36 sc)


Round 16: Ch3,  dc in the same st, (skip 2sts, sl st in next st, Ch3,  dc in the same st) around, end w/ sl st to join.

Fasten off and weave ends. 


String: Ch 60. Fasten Off. (use to tie a ribbon on top of the crochet egg holder)
